Hausly Terms of Service

Welcome to Hausly. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our website, services, or subscribing to any Hausly membership plans. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Overview

Hausly is a subscription-based home repair and property management platform that provides maintenance coordination, concierge services, virtual assistant support, and vendor procurement for homeowners, landlords, and property managers. Services are delivered under various membership tiers with defined coverage and access levels.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Hausly services. By registering or subscribing, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to enter into this agreement and are providing accurate and complete information.

3. Membership & Payment

  • Subscription Plans: Membership is offered on a monthly or annual basis. Plan benefits, pricing, and coverage are outlined during enrollment and may vary by tier.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle. By subscribing, you authorize Hausly to charge your payment method on file.
  • Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel your membership at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellations apply to the next billing cycle. Refunds are not provided for unused time, except as required by law.

4. Services Provided

Depending on your plan, services may include:

  • Home repair and maintenance coordination
  • Vendor sourcing and management
  • Tenant support and communication
  • Real estate virtual assistant services
  • Property marketing and listing management
  • Concierge support (e.g., scheduling, lifestyle tasks)

Note: Hausly is not a licensed contractor. We coordinate services through third-party vendors who are independently licensed, insured, and vetted.

5. Vendor Services & Liability

  • Third-Party Vendors: All repair and maintenance services are provided by third-party vendors. Hausly is not responsible for vendor performance or delays beyond our control.
  • Coverage Limits: Each membership tier includes specific covered services. Repairs outside of plan coverage or excluded items may result in additional fees.
  • Vendor Access: Members are responsible for providing vendors with safe, legal access to the property for scheduled work.

6. Member Responsibilities

Members agree to:

  • Provide accurate property details and contact information
  • Notify Hausly promptly of service needs
  • Maintain access to utilities and secure property access for vendor visits
  • Refrain from abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct toward Hausly staff or vendors

7. Termination

Hausly reserves the right to suspend or terminate service to any member who:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Fails to make timely payment
  • Abuses the platform or vendors
  • Engages in fraudulent or harmful behavior

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Hausly platform (text, logos, images, software, etc.) is the property of Hausly or its licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers

Hausly makes no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding:

  • The outcome or timing of vendor services
  • The availability of specific services in all geographic areas
  • Uninterrupted access to the platform

All services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hausly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, data, or business interruption arising from the use or inability to use our services.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in class actions or jury trials.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes via email or within their dashboard. Continued use of Hausly services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
